VPNRice ("we", "us", "the app") provides a Virtual Private Network (VPN) that encrypts your internet connection and helps protect your online privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and your choices. By using VPNRice you agree to this policy.

The short version: We run a strict no-logs VPN. We do not monitor, record, or sell your browsing history, DNS queries, traffic, or the apps and sites you use while connected.

1. No-logs commitment

We do not log, store, or sell your VPN activity: no browsing history, no DNS queries, no traffic content, no visited domains, no list of apps used through the tunnel. Your online activity is yours alone.

2. Information we collect

Account: if you sign in, your email address (or an anonymous device identifier if you use the app without an account). Each account has a non-personal user ID.
Device & app info: device model, OS and app version, and a device identifier — used to operate your session, enforce the per-account device limit, and show your devices so you can manage them.
Connection metadata (minimal, operational): aggregate data volume and timestamps needed to run the service, prevent abuse, and balance servers. This is not a log of what you did online.
Purchases: if you buy Premium, the transaction is processed by the app store (Apple App Store / Google Play). We receive a purchase receipt to grant your subscription; we do not receive your full card details.
Diagnostics: crash and error reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) to fix problems. These contain technical data, not your browsing.
App analytics: how the app itself is used — screens opened, taps such as connect/disconnect, purchases made in the app, app and device type, and an app-instance identifier — via Google Analytics for Firebase, plus an approximate region (country/city) that Google derives from the IP address. This is not linked to your email or account, is used only to improve the app, and never includes the websites or apps you use through the VPN.
QR scanner performance: when you scan a sign-in QR code, the on-device scanner (Google ML Kit) may send anonymous performance metrics (e.g. scan latency) to Google. Camera images are processed on your device and are not uploaded.

3. What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your browsing history, DNS lookups, the content of your traffic, or the websites/apps you access while connected. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites and we do not use your data for advertising; advertising features of Google Analytics are turned off. The iOS app does not access your advertising identifier (IDFA). On Android, Google Analytics may read the device's advertising ID as part of its standard measurement; we do not use it for advertising.

4. How we use information

To provide and secure the VPN, authenticate you, manage your devices and subscription, prevent fraud/abuse, fix bugs, and comply with the law. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run VPNRice — e.g., cloud/VPS hosting, app-store billing (Apple/Google), and Google (Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics for Firebase, ML Kit) — under their data-protection terms, or when required by law. We never sell your data.

6. Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Operational metadata is kept only as long as needed to run the service and is then deleted or aggregated. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

7. Security

Traffic is encrypted with modern protocols (WireGuard). We use industry-standard measures to protect account data. No method is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account data, and remove devices in the app. For requests, contact us at the email below.

9. Children

VPNRice is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes are shown by updating the date above. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
